 Josh <Review Old Rants> Post Date: 5/15/2005 12:34:50 PM Message: Well I can't say that yesterday's meeting was one of our most productive meeting as far as the projects go, but there was one aspect of it that went well. However, explanations on that would have to wait for another time, too much of a blog for my taste [if you want to find out, how 'bout a real conversation]. There's not much to do as far as the projects go. Sam/Nin is undergoing story development with some methods recommended to Jorge, NGears wasn't really mine to meddle with, and as far as the film goes we have only to prepare for the future filming. I'm gonna see if I can get these goddam scans Jorge has been bugging me about. Problem is that we'll need a database to register all the scans, create captions, and keep track of their filenames and thumbnails [among other attributes]. Maybe I'll get that DB up and running; as for the scans, they'll need some work as far as editing & prep for posting and some captions will be made for each ['cause Josh likes captions instead of trying to figure out what the artist is trying to tell me]. Additionally, I'm gonna see if I can move some of the front page layout to accomodate the RSS feed I want to plug from MegaTokyo. Aside from that, the usual whining and procrastination, there's not much else I'm doing. Undergoing training at my new job is all. By the way, for all those out there interested in knowing, it's now official ... Josh works three jobs, w00t. Later... I just looked at my rant history... The second recorded rant says that I had the first comic coming up. That was the second out of... A lot of rants. I need something, don't know what it is, but I need it. It needs to be there for this to work [and its not angst, Josh]. Story is there and I just done want to get it out, something in me says: wait, hold up, lets take yet another look at something that we should have started a long time ago and ponder about it... then lets decide that its all wrong and do it all over again, instead of just letting it go and work for itself, like its supposed to. Against all that is me I'm going to try another attempt at it. If I fail... eh, I'll just write another blog and complain about it. On to buisness... Josh rejected my new mech design, but to heck with it, I'm keeping this one anyways. Besides that I showed him the designs for the site layout. He didnt complain so I guess its fine. I'm going to assume that he will use these design and get the "100+ scans" online. Most likey I'll have to show it to him again next meeting [man its easy to sound whiney on this thing]. This is a filler message until Dre realizes that he's got an account on the website for ranting. I guess until then, this will remain. I suppose I'll offer up a bit of a more formal introduction. The newest member, in the four odd years since I added the ranting system and only individual to penetrate the original triad, Andres "Dre" Redondo. An artist of sorts, he has been associated with the group for years and has assisted in many inventions, as well as whine about not seeing any changes. Warm welcomes. We'll find out how often he really checks the site as I don't intend to tell him of this new account and await his request for access to his new account. -Josh |
